Team Blek
From YouWiki
This is the group of Buce Players that derive from E Block at Merewether High School. They are the class of Year 10, 2008 and therefore are an average of 2 years younger than the players of the Quad Team and the Front Team . Their entry into Buce allowed for them to prepare for the 2009 Buce League, which will commenced in late 2008. The year ten students of "E block" have been heavily influenced by Hamish Rogers and Angus Bevan, the younger brothers of already prominent Buce players Charlie Rogers and Guy Bevan. A hackey sack was brought to school one day and they eventually began to partake in the sport of buce with their much older and more experienced counterparts.
The E Block Hacky Sacking Group Consists of:
- Hamish "Mish Mash" Rogers. Younger brother of Charlie and one of the more skilled players at E block.
- Angus "Lord Of The Court" Bevan. Younger brother of Guy and an extremely talented player.
- Jaxon "Gangly McCantServe" Ireland. The towering monster of E block. With practice he could develop a defending style akin to Ricky's.
- Nick "The Hungarian" Scott. Uses an unorthodox style of play using his soccer skills. He is a valuable defender and has great serves.
- Tre "Pigmy" Clifford. A competent hackysacker, but unfortunately these skills do not follow him into buce.
- Oscar "AFK" Kubiak. Quite easily the most reserved player at E block, It is often hard to tell whether or not he is conscious or not while he plays.
- Ethan "Smit" Smith. The powerhouse of E block. Has muscles and builds things. Out of metal. Nuff said.
- Liam "Headshot" Steele. The younger brother of Joel Steele and a talented player who, like Nick Scott, uses his soccer skill to his advantage.
- Ben "Lewis" Wilson. Mocked for his ability to miss serves he was often called "Lewis". A competent member of the crew.
- Zac "Bac" Maytom. Easily the most badass member of E Block.
- Callan "Ragboy" Wrightson. A Scraggly haired somehow talented member of E Block. Winner of both Rookie of the year and most dangerous player.
[edit] Team Blek
Of the players mentioned above, about half of them competed in the 2009 Buce League, led by Hamish Rogers and Gus Bevan. After their first match (a win against the Sonic Force Buce Club, Bevan left for the USA to pursue a more lucrative Buce career.
After a win in their debut game, Blek had high hopes. However, their hopes faded quickly as they continued to suffer losses throughout the rest of the league, until they came equal last with the Sonic Force Buce Club at the end of the competition.
